Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield and the World Series Trophy will be at T-Mobile at the Legacy Place in Dedham from noon. to 2 p.m. on Thursday. Fans have a chance to win World Series Game 2 tickets at the event.
Wakefield pitched for both the 2004 and 2007 World Series champions. He missed the 2007 World Series with a shoulder injury after pitching in game one of the 2004 World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals He was a member of the Red Sox for 17 years and is third in career wins with 186 wins behind Cy Young and Roger Clemens.
