The Morrill Memorial Library Book Club at the Norwood Senior Center will be meeting Monday, Nov. 18, at 10 a.m.
With it being the Halloween season, there are heading back to a classic tale filled with pirates and treasure and mystery galore. This month, the book club is diving into Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. Perhaps you read this story when you were young, but it’s worth a trip back with Long John Silver, Old Pew and Ben Gunn.
Keep in mind, the discussion will run for a half hour only on the 18th because they are heading to the movies afterward to see The Book Thief (one of their other favorite book club reads).
