Georges N. Jdey, 77 of Norwood

Georges N. Jdey, 77, of Norwood, formerly of Lebanon, passed away, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at home surrounded by his family. 

Born in Zahle, Lebanon on May 23, 1936, he was the son of Naim and Margueritte (Trad) Jdey.  He was the beloved  husband of Mariam (Audi) Jdey of Norwood, the loving father of  Margo  and her husband, George Boufaissal of Norwood, Jack Jdey and his wife,  Nicole  of Walpole, Jocelyn and her husband,  Juan Samulonis of  Norwood,  Sue and her husband,  John Santos of Norwood,  the dear  brother of  Salim Jdey and his wife,  Angelique  of Lebanon, and Samira and her husband, Sami Saad of Milford, the cherished grandfather of  Rabeeh, Rema, George, James, Jasmine, Joseph, Jisele, Mya, and John and the dear uncle of several nieces and nephews. 

Georges was an electrical engineer and worked for many years for Middle East Airlines.  

Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, April 21, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Annunciation Melkite Catholic Cathedral.  Funeral Services will be held onTuesday, April 22, at 10 A.M at the Annunciation Melkite Catholic Cathedral, 7 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
