Norwood Obituary: Christopher Laszczak

Christopher Laszczak, 60, of Norwood, died suddenly, Saturday, February 16.

Born in Boston on Janurary 6, 1953, he was the son of the late Szymon Laszczak and Helena (Kurdziel). He was the devoted husband of Victoria (Filipek) of Norwood, loving father of Gregory Laszczak and his wife Julie of Whitman and Mathew Laszczak and his wife Shawna of Walpole, cherished grandfather of Landon and Calleigh Laszczak, dear brother of Thaddeus Laszczak and his wife Patricia of MD, Marian Laszczak of Boston, and the late Elizabeth Laszczak, and several nieces and nephews.

Christopher was an engineer at Teradyne in Boston and previously at Tyco and Telco in Norwood for many years. He earned a degree at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston and served as a Staff Sergeant of the Massachusetts Army National Guard in the 1970's.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, Feb. 20 from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., (Rt. 1A) Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington St., Norwood.
