Obituaries: Charles G. Dolan, Charles H. Golden

Charles "Charlie" G. Dolan, 79, of Norwood, formerly of West Roxbury, died Thursday, Sept. 26.
The son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Regan) Dolan, he was born in Boston on Dec. 9, 1933. Charlie served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and worked for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority for over 40 years. He was the beloved husband of Ann Marie (Fay) of Norwood, the loving father of Kerri A. and her husband, Robert of Foxborough, Kristin M. and her husband, Thomas of Walpole, Kimberley F. and her husband, Timothy of Taunton, and Kelli P. and her husband, Peter of Franklin. He was the cherished grandfather of Kelsey, Meghan, Shannon, Brittany, Thomas, Dolan, Aislinn, Taryn, Dean and Jaida, the dear brother of Robert, Joseph, Richard, Claire and Eleanor Dolan, and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 1, at 8 a.m. from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rte. 1A), Norwood, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 547 Washington St., Norwood. Interment will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne on Tuesday at 2:15 p.m.. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, Sept. 30, from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Charles H. "Argo" Golden, 83, of Norwood and Wareham, died Sept. 26.
He was the devoted husband of the late Nancy M. (Walsh) Golden. devoted father of Charles J. Golden of Foxboro, Frederick W. Smith of OH, Barbara Fruci of North Attleboro, Jeffrey F. Smith of N.H., Christopher P. Smith of Walpole, Elizabeth S. Fisher of Norton and Maryellen Oulton of Attleboro.
He was the brother of Margaret Fournier of N.J., Mane DeMayo of Norwood, Eleanor Wenstrom of Norwood, and the late Joseph, Thomas, Harold, William Golden and the late Dorothy J. Murphy. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
The funeral will be from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St., Norwood, Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Catherine's of Siena Church, Norwood.
The visiting hours will be Tuesday, 4-8 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in his name to Alzheimer's Association , 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
