Marilyn E. Timm, 65, of Norwood, formerly of North Attleboro, died after a valiant battle against pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, surrounded by the comfort of her loving family. She was the daughter of the late George and Hilda (Gunther) Timm.

Marilyn was born in Wareham on Aug. 15, 1948 and was raised in Norwood. She worked for several years as a secretary for Stone and Webster of Boston, a Pet Nanny, and most recently as a customer associate at Wal-Mart in Walpole. Marilyn was a person who possessed a special gift and passion that allowed her to connect with and speak for animals and children. She will always be remembered for an unprecedented love for animals, an unyielding interest in the lives of those around her, an ability to create unimaginable adventures, celebrating the holidays, shopping and spending time with her family.

Beloved sister of Priscilla Meyer and her husband Richard of Foxborough and George Timm of Norwood. Precious Aunt of Kristin Egan, Karin Salzano, Brian Timm, Brad Timm and Erik Meyer. Also survived by several great nieces and nephews, her dear friend Joanne Fortune of Chicago and her devoted cat Rudy. Companion of the late Padraig Quinn.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 4-7 p.m. at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South St. in Foxborough. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, 212 Main St. in Foxborough. Interment to follow at the Gardens of Gethsemane in West Roxbury. Thesea (Follano) McFadden, of Norwood, 95, died Sept. 24. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo McFadden. She was the devoted mother of Maria Viscardi and her husband Joseph of Walpole, Ursula Jaquith of Norwood and Jennie White and her husband Donald of Florida. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be from the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, 1248 Washington St. in Norwood, Friday at 8 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m.
