Today Norwood Patch celebrates its first birthday, and I wanted to take this chance to tell you all a little about this year and thank some very important people.
A year ago hardly anyone in Norwood knew what a "Patch" was. Now, it is a daily stop on the internet information super-highway for thousands of residents. The teamwork and collaboration between the Patch staff, local freelancers, writers, resident columnists, and town figures, has given Norwood Patch the opportunity to grow and flourish in a relatively short amount of time.
I think it's truly remarkable, and a credit to the town of Norwood that so many have taken an interest in staying informed about, and involved in, their community.
Personally I'd like to thank all the writers that have worked for us over the last year, including our regular columnists and contributors. The website wouldn't be what it is without your hard work and dedication.
And, of course, a huge thank you to the readers, without whom we would be nothing.
Happy Birthday Norwood Patch!
