The Twelve Days of Norwood Christmas

On the first day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me...

As the clock ticks on and Christmas nears, while Santa and his elves are busy preparing for the big night and children eagerly await his arrival, I decided to put my own spin on a Christmas classic. 

This little ditty is dedicated to a few of the things I am grateful for this season, and some, well... I could have done without. But oh well, Merry Christmas to all and to all... I'm sorry for getting the song stuck in your head.

On the first day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me, a Common full of luminaries.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me, five overnight parking tickets… (even though it has not snowed)… four Christmas columns, three custom shirts from Day Street, two Perk’s gift cards and a Common full of luminaries.

On the sixth day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me, six holiday fairs, five overnight parking tickets, four Christmas columns, three custom shirts from Day Street, two Perk’s gift cards and a Common full of luminaries.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me, seven busy storefronts, six holiday fairs, five overnight parking tickets, four Christmas columns, three custom shirts from Day Street, two Perk’s gift cards and a Common full of luminaries.

On the eighth day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me, eight Holiday House Tours, seven busy storefronts, six holiday fairs, five overnight parking tickets, four Christmas columns, three custom shirts from Day Street, two Perk’s gift cards and a Common full of luminaries.

On the ninth day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me, nine Santa sightings, eight Holiday House Tours, seven busy storefronts, six holiday fairs, five overnight parking tickets, four Christmas columns, three custom shirts from Day Street, two Perk’s gift cards and a Common full of luminaries.

On the tenth day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me, ten children donating to the Food Pantry, nine Santa sightings, eight Holiday House Tours, seven busy storefronts, six holiday fairs, five overnight parking tickets, four Christmas columns, three custom shirts from Day Street, two Perk’s gift cards and a Common full of luminaries.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me, eleven packages at the Post Office, ten children donating to the Food Pantry, nine Santa sightings, eight Holiday House Tours, seven busy storefronts, six holiday fairs, five overnight parking tickets, four Christmas columns, three custom shirts from Day Street, two Perk’s gift cards and a Common full of luminaries.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my Norwood gave to me, a wonderful (12th) month of memories, eleven packages at the Post Office, ten children donating to the Food Pantry, nine Santa sightings, eight Holiday House Tours, seven busy storefronts, six holiday fairs, five overnight parking tickets, four Christmas columns, three custom shirts from Day Street, two Perk’s gift cards and a Common full of luminaries.
