American Red Cross Assists Norwood Fire Victims

Four families (10 people, seven adults) were displaced by a fire at 1407 Washington St. in Norwood on the Walpole line Monday morning.

The American Red Cross is assisting them. Volunteers are putting up two families, seven people in total, in hotels, while the other two other families have a place to stay.

Volunteers also provided everyone with emergency funds for food, clothing and seasonal clothing, comfort kits (which include toiletries), three Mickey Mouse dolls for the children, two blankets and a sweatshirt.
