Four Arrested After Search Warrant Turned Up Multiple Drugs

Norwood Police arrested four Pine Street residents after finding heroin and pills.

Police arrested four suspects at a Norwood residence Thursday afternoon for dealing in heroine and "several different types of pills," police spokesman Kevin Grasso said Friday.

The arrests came after Norwood Police Detectives and other members of the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime (NORPAC) Detectives Unit executed a search warrant Thursday afternoon at 32 Pine Street, in Norwood.

"During the execution of this warrant, detectives found drugs and other items consistent with drug sales," Grasso said in an email.

Arrested were Dejan Katic, 26, Aja Lee Moore, 28, and Jessica Nikas, 21. A short time later police also arrested Peter Katic, 23. All four were living at the searched residence.

Peter Katic was charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute of a class A substance (heroin) and drug violation near a school zone. Jessica Nikas was charged with possession of class A substance (heroin) and being a fugitive from justice, having an active court warrant out of New Hampshire. Dejan Katic and Aja Lee Moore were both charged with three counts of possession of a class B substance (pills).

"This search warrant was issued as result of an investigation. Leading this investigation was Norwood Police Detective John Gover," Grasso said.
