Leaf Blowing at Night; OUI Arrest; Deer Struck on Union

Tuesday, April 29

  • At 6:15 a.m., a woman called to state that she went outside to notice her car's wheels had been stolen overnight 
  • At 7:36 a.m., police responded to reports that boats are being launched and blocking the footpath on Ellis Pond 
  • At 2:12 p.m., a shopper at Stop & Shop reported that her pocketbook went missing while shopping 
  • At 2:12 p.m., a patient reported that her wallet is missing from the emergency room at Norwood Hospital 
  • At 10:05 p.m., a caller reported that a man was running through the yard
  • At 10:08 p.m., a resident reported an issue with a neighbor on Plimpton Ave. 
  • At 11:35 p.m., a caller reported that she struck a deer on Union Street. DPW notified to remove deer
Wednesday, April 30 
  • At 12:56 a.m., police pulled a vehicle on Upland Road. Aleksander Schwenzner, 24, 317 Washington St., Westwood, was arrested for speeding and OUI liquor (second offense) 
  • At 2:32 a.m., police resonded to a report of someone on Leonx Street using a leaf blower
