Norwood Police say a 28-year-old man from Norwood died in a single motor vehicle crash in the area of 382 Walpole St. just after midnight, Jan. 5, according to their Facebook page. They didn't release the name of the man, who was extracted from the car by the Norwood Fire Department and was transported to the hospital, according to Norwood Police, where he later succumbed to injuries.
The crash is under investigation by Norwood police officers Jaime Mazzola and Matthew O'Brien with the assistance of the Massachusetts State Police Crash Reconstruction Team.
