Norwood Fire Department Battling Washington Street Fire

The Norwood Fire Department is working on a two-alarm fire at 1407 Washington St. Monday morning.

Union and Shore Streets have been closed, because of the fire.

FOX-25 is reporting that everyone got out of the house safely. Norwood Firefighters were breaking the second story windows. They were ordered not to entry the home.

The roads were still blocked off as of 10:30 a.m. Monday morning as the firefighters dealt with the smoke.
