Norwood Police Arrest Man for Selling Oxycodone

Norwood resident Stephen Beal, 49, was arrested by police for selling Oxycodone from his apartment.

On Tuesday Norwood detectives arrested Stephen Beal, 49, for selling oxycodone tablets from his apartment.  

"Detective Sergeant Robert Rinn and Detective David Eysie were conducting surveillance in South Norwood when they saw a man enter and then quickly leave 1236 Washington and go to his parked car," police said.  "Within a few moments, they saw him with oxycodone tablets that he had purchased inside the first floor apartment."

That is when detectives went to the first floor apartment and arrested Beal for unlawful distribution of a Class B controlled substance.

The man who bought the pills will be summonsed for unlawful possession of a Class B controlled substance.  

Last year, police arrested another man at the same apartment for selling heroin.
