Norwood Police Investigating Four Break-ins Around Pleasant Street

Norwood Police Department is investigating four break-ins that took place around Pleasant Street, between Dean Street and Gay Street.

"The breaks occurred over the weekend and are believed to have taken place during the afternoon and early evening hours," police said on their Facebook page.

According to police, the breaks were discovered on Pleasant Street, Pellana Road, Sunnyside Road, and Lawndale Road.  The items that were taken from the homes included small electronics (such as iPods, iPads and laptops), prescription pills, cash, and a 32 inch television.

Police are asking residents to make their home "less attractive" to a burglar.

"Leave on lights, television or music that is audible at your door or windows," police said. "Leave a car in your driveway, or if you’re going to be away invite a neighbor to use your driveway."

Police are also urging everyone to report anything that looks suspicious.
