Norwood Police Log: Arrests for Armed Robbery, Drug Possession, OUI

Friday, Dec. 14

6:36 a.m. - Caller on Brookview Circle reported he was just robbed. Police filed a report.

10:42 a.m. - As the result of an anonymous tip, police arrested two parties at a residence on Walpole Street for Heroin possession.

11:58 p.m. - Caller reported fight in the street on Vernon Street. Multiple units responded, officers placed Noah Gardner, of Boston, under arrest for assault and battery. Norwood Fire notified for injuries, police filed a report.

12:36 a.m. - Caller reported white Nissan Maxima in the breakdown lane on Boston-Providence Highway driving south with no headlights on. As a result, police arrested Kelly C. Talbot, of Norwood, for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of class B and class E drugs, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

Sunday, Dec. 16

11:10 a.m. - Caller on Nichols Street reported checks missing. Police filed a report.

8:32 p.m. - As the result of a motor vehicle stop on Central and Washington streets, police arrested Melany Wahnon, of Wakefield, for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol (second offense), leaving the scene of property damage, and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Monday, Dec. 17

5:45 a.m. - Caller at Boch Honda stated that he fired an employee for being late
several times and then the employee punched him in the face. Officers responded, filed a report.

12:49 p.m. - Caller on Paula Road reported the back door kicked open when she went to walk the dog. Police filed a report.
