Norwood Police Log: Graffiti on Building, Armed Robbery

Thursday, Jan. 10
11:29 a.m. - Subject on phone reported after reading an article believes her van was hit a couple of weeks ago, while pulling into Hannafords lot. Window broke and she had no idea why. Police filed a report.
12:26 p.m. - Caller at Chateau Restaurant reported vehicle hit the building. NFD notified. Papers exchanged.

2:08 p.m. - Walk-in reported assaults at the Golden Living Center on Washington Street. Police filed a report, Det. Ryan investigating.
3:48 p.m. - Caller on Lenox Street reported graffiti on back of building. Police filed a report.

Friday, Jan. 11
12:15 p.m. - Caller at Clay Nissan reported check written for a vehicle purchase and returned by the bank. No such account. Police issued a summons.
7:17 p.m. - Caller on Springvale Road reported breaking and entering. Police filed a report.
8:19 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported malicious damage to his car while it was parked at Norwood Hospital. Police filed a report.
9:03 p.m. - Caller reported disturbance on Cleveland Street. As a result, police arrested Angie Denise Gonzalez, of Norwood, for assault and battery.
Saturday, Jan. 12
11:56 a.m. - Officer reported broken glass on Washington Street sidewalk. Department of Public Works notified.
10:07 p.m. - Store owner at Ajay's Market reported armed robbery with a gun. Red motor vehicle headed north on Walpole Street. BOLO to all cars. No arrest made, police filed a report.
Sunday, Jan. 13
1:18 p.m. - Caller on Everett Street reported attempted strong-arm robbery of a person. NFD sent, BOLO to all cars, Westwood PD, MBTA Bus, MBCR-train, Town Taxi. As a result of the investigation officer reported this was a false call and will file a complaint application and report.
