Norwood Police Log: Drug Arrests, Laptop Stolen from Vehicle

Tuesday, Nov. 13

11:06 a.m. - As the result of a detectives' investigation at the Rama Shopping Center, police arrested Craig B. Marchand, of Dorchester, for possession with intent to distribute a class B drug and James P. Carroll, of Norwood, for possession of a class B drug.

4:43 p.m. - Caller at Hannaford Market reported a female shoplifting. As a result, police issued a summons for Diana E. Watler, of Norwood, for shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

4:49 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported a past assault on Washington St. As a result, police issued a summons for Jean F. Barthold, of Walpole, for assault and battery.

8:25 p.m. - Caller at Boncaldo Restaurant on Boston-Providence Highway reported rear window of vehicle broken and laptop stolen. Police filed a report.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

8:50 a.m. - Caller at Mr. Frank's Gulf Station reported a dispute at the pumps over who was there first. Caller reported she was grabbed by the other driver. Police filed a report.

3:40 p.m. - Norwood Police arrested Laura Ann Tansey, of Norwood, for possession with intent to distribute a class B drug, subsequent offense.

5:00 p.m. - Caller at Studio 8 Salon and Boutique reported past shoplifting. Police filed a report.
