Norwood Police Log Dec. 3: Motor Vehicle Accidents Reported

The following information was provided by the Norwood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

The following are incidents from the Norwood Police Log.

Tuesday, Dec. 3:
6:54 a.m. Hit and run, Rockhill Street. Caller followed party that hit them. Officers located vehicle and assisted with the papers exchange. Westwood Police were notified because accident took place there.
7:26 a.m. Party in police station to report past accident.
11:22 a.m. Motor vehicle accident at Norwood Printing Center Inc., Central Street. Delivery truck to Irish Heaven backed into building. Information exchanged.
3:47 p.m. Studio & Salon and Boutique, Central Street. Issue with business owner. Both parties spoken to and report filed.
7:37 p.m. Assisted citizen in resident and landlord problem, Nahatan Street. Both parties spoken to and because it is a civil matter, both were advised to let the courts handle the matter.

Wednesday, Dec. 4:
8:49 a.m. Stolen bicycle, Winter Street, taken Nov. 3, 2013.
8:49 a.m. Motor vehicle accident on Washington Street. Party reported they hit an unoccupied car. They went to work, but returned to the scene. Papers were exchanged.
10:36 a.m. Vandalism to car in parking lot last night at ITT Technical Institute, Boston-Providence Highway.
10:46 a.m. Officer on private detail reported DPW leaf bag collection truck dropped some bags in the street. DPW notified.
2:48 p.m. Illegal trash disposal at Broadway Package Store, Broadway. Household trash was left in cardboard only in recycling dumpster. Trash was checked for names. Store disposed of contains.
4:55 p.m. Three car motor vehicle accident at Sky Restaurant, Boston-Providence-Highway. Fire department was notified and three vehicles towed.
5:08 p.m. Caller reported FedEx truck dropped a few packages in intersection. FedEx driver was notified and the packages were returned.
11:07 p.m. Disabled vehicle moved on Dean Street.
11:12 p.m. Officer assisted with disabled vehicle at Four Points Sheraton, Boston-Providence Highway.
