Norwood Police Log Dec. 9: Racoons Make Unwanted Visit

The following are the incidents from the Norwood police log.

Monday, Dec. 9:
8:49 a.m. Icy roads were reported on School Street.
9:17 a.m. A care slid off the road at Geraldine Drive and knocked a crosswalk sign over. DPW fixed the sign.
9:24 a.m. Motor vehicle accident at Washington and Fulton Streets. Cars towed.
11:58 a.m. Party reported credit card used in New York with authorization.
2:17 p.m. Motor vehicle accident at Walpole and Laurel Road. Papers exchanged.
2:30 p.m. A motor vehicle broken into at Winslow Professional Building, Chapel Street.
3:20 p.m. A backpack was found lying on the basement floor of Winslow Professional Building, Chapel Street. Bottles of pills strewn near backpack. It was filed with the previous breaking and entering.
5:42 p.m. Motor vehicle at Michaek Miller, M.D, Washington Street. Career towed one vehicle.
7:18 p.m. Two racoons entered a building on Olde Derby Road through heating vents on the roof. Officer contact maintenance and
8:30 p.m. Officers assisted Norwood Hospital in getting a confused patient into the building.
