Norwood Police Log: Hit and Run, Shed Fire and More
The following information was provided by the Norwood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.
Thursday, Aug. 15
(11:01 a.m.) A home was broken into on Hazelwood Drive. Police searched the area but was unable to find anything. A report was filed.
Friday, Aug. 16
(6:20 p.m.) There was a hit and run in the Hannaford Market parking lot. A report was filed.
Saturday, Aug. 17
(5:22 p.m.) There was a hit and run incident on Neponset Street. A report was filed.
(8:57 p.m.) A Phillips Avenue resident was arrested by Norwood Police for drunk driving.
Sunday, Aug. 18
(3:52 p.m.) There was a shed fire on Washington Street. Norwood Fire was able to put out the fire.
