Norwood Police Log Jan. 7: Lost Pocketbook Returned

The following are incidents from the Norwood Police Log.

Tuesday, Jan. 7:
8:25 a.m. Prisoner was transported to Dedham Court.
8:26 a.m. Prisoner was transported to Dedham Court.
2:03 p.m. Pocketbook was found at Shaw's and turned into police station. Officer located the party and they were scheduled to pick it up at the police station.
2:28 p.m. Assaults at Norwood High School. Charges were to be filed.
2:38 p.m. Syringe founded in Folan Avenue home. Officer returned to station with it to be destroyed.
3:38 p.m. Motor vehicle accident Everett and Washington Streets. Norwood fire department sent. Officer stood by as DPW cleaned up the debris.
3:39 p.m. Phone harassment reported on Tremont Street. Caller pretended to be the FBI. No money or personal information was given out. It appeared to be a prank.
3:44 p.m. Hit and run reported at Stop & Shop, Boston-Providence Highway. Party went into station to report the incident that happened Jan. 3 at 8:30 a.m.
3:56 p.m. Caller reported male party was partly stumbling in traffic and went into the Shamrock Bar. Sean P. O'Grady, 39, Oak Street, Westwood was placed under arrest for assault and battery on a police officer, assault battery with a dangerous weapon and resisted arrest.
5:01 p.m. Caller reported past fraud.
7:32 p.m. Disabled motor vehicle at Boch Toyota, Boston-Providence Highway.
