Norwood Police Log: Kids Throwing Tomatoes, OUI Arrest Early Wednesday

Monday, August 20
6:34 p.m. - Caller at St. George's Parish on St. George Ave. reported a male party off medications and being aggressive. Caller complained of possible injury. Officers responded and took both parties to Norwood Hospital for evaluation. Charges are pending against a Norwood man in this incident.
9:25 p.m. - Caller on Nichols St. reported kids throwing tomatoes into the roadway. Responding officer reported parties gone on arrival.

Tuesday, August 21
9:02 a.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident on Washington St. in Norwood Center. No personal injury reported, one vehicle towed from the scene. Police filed a report.

9:13 a.m. - Caller at Auto Mall Service Center on Boston-Providence Highway reported a set of tires missing off a vehicle in the lot. Police filed a report.
5:00 p.m. - Caller at Center Auto Body on Carnegie Row reported storage bin lock found broken. Police filed a report.
6:12 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported past breaking and entering to a motor vehicle at Domino's on Washington St. Police filed a report.
6:52 p.m. - Caller reported syringe found on Alandale Pkwy. Responding officer removed and disposed of needle.
Wednesday, August 22
1:07 a.m. - As the result of a traffic stop on Morse St. police arrested Amanda Landing Leal, of Roslindale, for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
