Norwood Police Log: Marijuana Citations, Breaking and Entering to Homes

Friday, Nov. 30

10:38 a.m. - Caller on Pleasant St. reported the pitbulls from neighbors' yard are in her yard and scaring the nannie. Neighbors are threatening her as well. This is ongoing and caller was very upset. Animal Control was notified. Neighbor voluntarily gave up one dog, NACO spoke to all involved, peaceful solution at this time.

2:21 p.m. - Caller on Neponset St. reported a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Police filed a report.

5:00 p.m. - Caller on Boston-Providence Highway reported a motor vehicle accident. Two vehicles towed from the scene, police filed a report.

6:59 p.m. - Caller at Newbury Comics reported black motor vehicle in lot, stated occupants appear to be smoking "meth." Responding officers reported drug is marijuana, two citations issued.

Saturday, Dec. 1

5:37 p.m. - Driver reported he hit a sign on Boston-Providence Highway and knocked it over. Mass. D.O.T. notified to fix "Left Turn Only" sign.

Sunday, Dec. 2

2:33 p.m. - Caller on Walpole St. reported breaking and entering. Police filed a report.

8:21 p.m. - Caller at CFM Variety reported white male approached him and attempted to sell him drugs. Responding officer reported party gone on arrival.

9:02 p.m. - Caller on Chapel St. reported someone broke into his house. Officers responded, filed a report.

Monday, Dec. 3

12:19 a.m. - Caller on Garfield Ave. reported past break-in, stated jewelry missing. Officers filed a report.
