Norwood Police Log: Motorcycle Stolen, Woman Arrested for Shoplifting

Friday, September 14

11:42 a.m. - Caller on Engamore Ln. reported vandalism to tow vehicles. Police filed a report.

5:41 p.m. - Caller on Village Rd. E reported motorcycle may have been stolen. Police entered registration into database and filed a report.

8:05 p.m. - Caller on Endicott St. reported kids lighting off fireworks in the field and she is concerned about Mill building. Responding officers reported youths gone on arrival.

9:50 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported disturbance related to a party previously taken into protective custody on Rosemary St. As a result, police arrested Kevin McGee of Foxborough, for attempted murder, threat to commit a crime and intimidating a witness.

Saturday, September 15

8:27 a.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident at Nahatan St. and Broadway. Two vehicles towed from the scene. Police filed a report.

8:45 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported bicycle stolen from Elliot St. Police filed a report.

Sunday, September 16

12:25 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported jewelry stolen from her home on Hampden Dr. and she knows who took it. As a result, police arrested James Karagiannis, of Dedham, for larceny from a building and possession with intent to distribute a class B substance.

2:05 a.m. - Officer reported flower pot at Smile Smile Restaurant on Washington St. tipped over. Police filed a report.

1:25 p.m. - Caller reported shoplifting at Building 19 3/4 on Boston-Providence Highway. As a result, police arrested Danielle M. Burke, of Norwood, for larceny over $250.
