Norwood Police Log Nov. 18:Coyote, Deer Spotted

The following incidents are from the Norwood police log.

Monday, Dec. 18:
9:17 a.m. Motor vehicle accident, Route 1 Southbound, Boston-Providence Highway.
10:20 a.m. Animal complaint, report of a coyote in area of Endean Conservation Land, Washington Street. Didn't run away at the sight of a caller. N.A.C.O. will go to check the area.
10:30 a.m. Norwood Police Station. Party reports got a notice license was going to be suspended/revoked because of driving in Missouri, but they had never been to that state. After speaking to registry, matter was cleared up. Name and date of birth match, but it's a different person.
11:42 a.m. Subject removing bags of cloth from a donation box at Norwood Depot, Hill Street-Railroad Ave. Removing items behind Mobil. Older female on a blue scooter/wheelchair.
11:50 a.m. Motor vehicle accident, Everett Street. Officer reports exchange of papers done before his arrival.
1:11 p.m. Motor vehicle accident, Vanderbilt-Riverbridge, Boston-Providence Highway. Norwood fire department sent. Report filed.
1:37 p.m. Resident thinks someone brought into apartment, Nahatan Street.
1:44 p.m. Norwood Police Department, officer advised the resident of a potential scam called they received. No money or information exchanged and resident satisfied.
1:51 p.m. Motor vehicle accident, Nahatan Street-West Border Road.
2:35 p.m. Larceny, contractor reports theft of wire over the weekend.
3:22 p.m. Violation of town bylaw, Gazebo, town common, Washington Street, group moved. Two kids on bicycles.
4:10 p.m. Report of a fight, Balch School, Washington Street, six kids got into a fight. Norwood fire department sent for hand injury.
4:48 p.m. Motor vehicle accident, Nichols Street-Geraldine Drive.
5:56 p.m. Motor vehicle accident, Washington Street and Alandale Parkway, Officer assisted in paper exchange.
5:58 p.m. Animal complaint, Boch Toyota, Boston-Providence Highway, caller reports a deer in road. State DPW notified.
