Norwood Police Log Sept. 11: Motor Vehicle Accidents Reported

The following information was provided by the Norwood Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

The following are excepts from the Norwood Police Log for Sept. 11.

Wednesday, Sept. 11:
12:02 a.m. Sunnyside Road, Resident let dog out and it cornered a possum. Officer was able to get dog away from possum.
6:30 a.m. Franklin St., noise complaint, officer located radio in backyard. Turned off radio.
8:15 a.m. Washington St.-Railroad Ave., motor vehicle accident. Tow trucks, Norwood Fire Department responded.
11:18 a.m. Hannaford Market, Walpole St., lost bag with passport inside.
12:16 p.m. Investors Way, victim in station to report hit in lot two days before. Report filed.
4:00 p.m. Washington Street, bicycle found on property there for two days. Bike will remain there.
4:02 p.m. Boston-Providence Highway, motor vehicle, report filed.
4:32 p.m. MBTA Railroad Tracks, Savin Ave. Report train hit person on tracks. Norwood Fire Department, MBTA, State Police and CPAC all notified. DPW barreled off Washington Street.
5:28 p.m. Roche Bros. Supermarket entrance driving, hit and run, should have left front damage, Westwood Police will handle.
6:36 p.m. Nahatan St.-Central St. motor vehicle, report filed, Negosbian's will tow.
7:59 p.m. Washington St., theft of a lockbox with money, report filed.
9:42 p.m. Norton Drive, Disabled vehicle. AAA on the way.
