Norwood Police Log: Sept. 13-14

Highlights from the daily police logs.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

8:40 a.m. - Police were notfied of a gas leak near Pond and Heaton avenues. Police and fire responded, the gas company was notified.

2:35 p.m. - Caller reported a car into a pole motor vehicle accident at Pleasant St. Vehicle was towed, police filed a report.

5:25 p.m. - Caller reported stolen bikes from Prospect St. Police filed a report.

5:40 p.m. - Norwood Fire Dept. responded to a dumpster fire on Access Rd.

7:15 p.m. - Caller reported a breaking and entering to his home on Bahama Dr. Responding officer stated no one inside the house. Police filed a report.

8:10 p.m. - Caller on Austin St. reported the house egged three times. Responding officer filed a report.

8:25 p.m. - Police arrested Anthony G. Bonanno of Westwood for assault and battery after receiving a call to Washington and Short streets. Two juvenile arrests were also made in the incident.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

10:19 a.m. - Caller at Washington St. Auto Sales repoted running boards missing from a vehicle. Police filed a report.

4:31 p.m. - Caller reported state inspection stickers stolen from Don & Wally's Service Center on Route 1. Police filed a report.

8:36 p.m. - Police arrested four parties for stealing copper wire from the lot on Washington and Short streets. Krista E. Corbett, Mason. P. Slattery, and Christopher Soloman of Dedham, as well as Casey J. Hickson of Foxborough, will all be charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny over $250.
