Norwood Police Log Sept. 19: Drug Arrest Made for Trafficking, Possession

The following are excepts from the Norwood Police Log for Sept. 19-20.

12:01 a.m. Washington Street, noise complaint. Officer spoke to party and advised.
6:05 a.m. Vanderbilt Avenue, motor vehicle accident. Building accidently struck, left until cleared by building inspector to be removed.
9:04 a.m. Alandale Parkway, trucks on both sides of the road. Officer spoke to them, trucks now on one side.
9:23 a.m. Dunkin Donuts, Nahatan Street, motor vehicles, parties exchanged papers.
10:33 a.m. Hill Street, Railroad Avenue, caller reports gates down and no train coming. Officer responded gates up and operational.
1:13 p.m. Short Street, lost Verizon Lucid phone. Lost photo form filed.
3:30 p.m. Rite Aid, Walpole Street, Investigating false prescriptions. Charges to be filed.
6:19 p.m. Winter Street, motor vehicle accident, vehicle hit house. Norwood Fire Department notified.
11:34 p.m. Valley-Laurel Road, Detectives reported one under arrest. Boston Police K responded. Arrested Reynaldo Ponce, 31, electric stun gun, selling/possession heroin/morphine/opium, trafficking in drug possession to distribute Class B, trafficking  in drug possession to distribute Class B and trafficking in drug possession to distribute Class E.
