Norwood Police Log: Stolen Car Tires, Shoplifting and Assault and Battery

Wednesday, Nov. 21

7:51 a.m.- Caller reports his truck was broken in over night. Services rendered.

11:50 a.m.- Report of an oven fire. Norwood Fire Department notified.

1:30 p.m.- Dispute outside. One subject suffered a cut to the nose or lip. As a result one was arrest for Assault and Battery. Derek Duval, 33, of 73 Conrad Street, Apt. 2, Woonsocket, RI was arrested for alleged Assault and Battery of a Person Over Age 60/Disabled.

9:05 p.m.- Arrest made at Stop and Shop on Route 1. Caller reported a shoplifter. Lynette Wison, 45, of 2502 Francis Avenue, Mansfield, MA was arrested for alleged Shoplifting by Asportation.

Thursday- Nov. 22, 2012

8:13 a.m.- Caller reported that his van appeared to have been broken into. 2 windows were broken. Report filed.

12:57 p.m.- Motor vehicle accident. Caller reported that a van driver backed into their home and was not acknowledging it. Report filed.

5:12 p.m.- Caller reported that his runaway daughter was located. Officers on scene reported tha the daughter was in custody and ran away from Randolph.

9:04 p.m.- Report of a rape. Report filed.

Friday- Nov. 23, 2012

3:05 a.m.- Motor vehicle accident. Caller reported that a vehicle drove into the woods. Norwood Fire responded. Summons issued.

9:09 a.m.- Larceny reported. Motor vehicle left on cinder blocks. Tires missing. Report filed.

2:25 p.m.- Caller reported that his girlfriend pulled a knife on him. He was outside and the girlfriend was inside at the time of the call. As a result of the call the male party was brought into the station under arrest. Frantz Magloire, 32, of 240 Washington Street, Apt. 2, Norwood was arrested for Assault and Battery.

3:00 p.m.- Report of a credit card stolen while having their car served and the credit card was compromised. Report filed.
