Norwood Police Log: Weapon on School Grounds, Vehicle B&E

Monday, Nov. 19

10:51 a.m. - Safety Officer to file a summons for a juvenile (14) carrying a dangerous weapon on school grounds at the Coakley Middle School. Report filed.

2:42 p.m. - Caller at Work Out World on Boston-Providence Highway reported vehicle window smashed and items removed. Possible suspect vehicle was a green/aqua blue pick-up. Police filed a report.

4:32 p.m. - Caller reported four kids stole his bicycle while at Rite Aid on Walpole St. Police issued a BOLO.

4:44 p.m. - Caller reported three kids using an air-powered handgun, shooting at a sign on fire road from Cherrywood to Prescott School property. Two with dark hoodies, white writing, square logo, one with handgun had dark hoodie, no writing or logo. Police filed a report.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

9:07 a.m. - Caller on Monroe St. reported family member picking up mail and found home broken into. Police filed a report.

4:31 p.m. - As the result of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation serving a search warrant on Adams St. Police arrested two parties on multiple drug charges. George J. Mcauley, of Norwood, and Angel Rosa, homeless, of Somerville were transported for booking at the Norwood Police station.

Wednesday, Nov. 21

2:33 a.m. - As the result of a motor vehicle stop at Union St. and Coach Ln., police arrested Andrew Gerard Dejoie, of Walpole, for three counts of breaking into a vehicle/boat night time felony.
