Norwood Police Log:Noise Complaints, Lost Dog
The following is excepts from the Norwood Police Log.
Saturday, Sept. 7:
12:48 a.m. Jefferson Drive, Noise complaint, loud party. Police spoke them, going in for the night.
3:45 a.m. Residence Inn, Boston-Providence Highway. Guests re-lit the fire pit. Parties spoken to and Norwood Fire Department put out the fire.
8:45 a.m. Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, Washington Street, funeral escort.
10:24 a.m. Neponset-Hemlock St., motor vehicle stop, citation issued.
11:42 a.m. Nichols-Vernon Streets, motor vehicle stop, report filed.
11:53 a.m. Police Station, party turned in dog. Walpole Animal Officer took the dog.
12:18 p.m. Morrill Memorial Library, syringe found in front of the library. It was
recovered by Norwood Day detail.
12:35 p.m. East Cottage Street-Central Street, caller reports they were assaulted.
12:45 p.m. Norwood Day-Officer Michael Richer reports a wallet was found during Norwood Day. Owner notified and will pick up wallet.
12:53 p.m. Washington Street-Railroad Avenue, motor vehicle accident.
2:05 p.m. McDonald's Broadway, report of fight. No fight found, 25 kids inside and outside on the property are sent on their way.
2:56 p.m. Hawthorne Street, barking dog. Owner spoken to.
3:21 p.m. Party in station to report breaking and entering into a vehicle. Items were taken from the vehicle in last four months, while party was away on business.
8:58 p.m. Party in Police station to report hit and run, Central Street=Guild Street.
