Norwood Vehicle Found Abandoned Off Road in Boston Taken By Owner's Daughter

Norwood police reported the initial reports that the car was stolen in Norwood were mistaken.

According to Norwood police, an abandoned vehicle found crashed off the road in Boston this morning was allegedly taken by the owner's daughter, not stolen as originally reported.

Scanner reports this morning said that the vehicle had been found at 152 Turtle Pond Parkway and Massachusetts State Police were on the scene. Reports indicated the vehicle was stolen this morning in Norwood.

Norwood Police spokesman Kevin Grasso told Patch that the incident would be going in report as a using without authority rather than larceny.
