One Injured When Truck Struck Norwood Bridge

Traffic was tied up for over an hour while a truck was removed from underneath the Morse Street Bridge Monday afternoon.

Norwood Firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at the Morse Street Bridge Monday afternoon when a truck got stuck under the bridge.

Norwood Fire spokesman George Morrice said that one person was injured in the crash and was transported to Norwood Hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic was tied up for about one and a half hours while a tow truck pulled the stuck vehicle out from under the bridge.
