A great time was had by all at the Norwood Fire Department Annual Open House. As usual the focus of the event was the kids and fire safety. There was lots to see and do and of course Sparky the Fire Dog made an appearance.

A Citizens Recognition Award was given out to Andre Siquiera for his brave actions in notifying the NFD of an apartment fire at the Stonebridge Apartment complex this past spring.

The annual event is an extension of the Norwood Fire Department's Fire Safety & Education Program coordinated by Firefighter Paul Ronco. Paul would like to thank Dunkin Donuts and Papa Gino's Pizza for their generous donations helping to make this event a success.
