Police Arrest Dunkin Donuts Robber

Norwood resident was allegedly armed with a knife.

Norwood Police arrested a 32-year-old man Tuesday after an armed robbery of the Walpole Street Dunkin' Donuts.

James Adamos was arrested by Norwood police for armed robbery, threatening to commit a crime and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Police received a call at 2:40 p.m. from a caller who stated a white male entered the Dunkin' Donuts at 491 Walpole St. and demanded cash while armed with a knife. Police say the suspect fled the scene on foot before taking the cash and was seen entering a residence on Walpole Street.

Responding officers surrounded the home and waited for more information from the officer at the scene of the robbery. The suspect was then located, arrested and transported to the police station for booking.

Adamos is expected to be arraigned tomorrow morning in Dedham District Court.
