"Lately, there has been a rash of similar thefts (large quantities of Enfamil Baby Formula) in area supermarkets and pharmacies," a police statement said. "We are confident that thieves in these cases, stealing large amounts of Baby Formula, are not doing this to feed an infant. Rather, the formula is sold for pennies on the dollar to an unscrupulous merchant who will resell the product at its regular retail price."
