Two Norwood Residents Arrested for Trafficking Heroin

Norwood residents Christopher Lee Piris and Iriana Morales were arrested for trafficking heroin in Woburn and Norwood.

 

On June 21, Norwood Detectives along with NORPAC Detectives completed a long drug investigation involving the trafficking of heroin by two Norwood residents.

For several months Det. Sgt. Rinn began working with the Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force related to investigate two Norwood residents who were bringing heroin into Woburn and making drug sales. The investigation led to the arrest of 27-year-old Christopher Lee Piris and 31-year-old Iriana Morales, both of 55 David Terrace in Norwood, according to police.

As a result of the arrest in Woburn, a search warrant was issued by Dedham District Court for their apartment in Norwood.

Piris and Morales were each charged with Heroin Trafficking and Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine by the Woburn Police Department.  When they were arrested, large quantities of Heroin and Cocaine were recovered.

"Norwood Police Detectives and NORPAC Task Force Detectives executed a search warrant which was issued by the Dedham District Court on their apartment at 55 David Terrace in Norwood," police said. 

Police discovered approximately 128 grams of Heroin. 

As a result, they will also be charged by Norwood Police with Trafficking in Heroin.
