Weekend Police Logs: Nov. 25-27

Highlights from the daily police logs.

Friday, Nov. 25

11:34 a.m. - Caller on Railroad Ave. found a broken window from the previous night. Police filed a report.

1:19 p.m. - Walk-in to the department, resident of Savin Ave., reported larceny. Police filed a report.

2:55 p.m. - Following a search warrant executed at an address on Boston-Providence Highway, Norwood police arrested Edward P. Hartnett III, of Braintree, and Brian Denoncourt, of Hancock, Maine. Both will be charged with conspiracy to violate drug law, possession of a class B drug with intent to distribute, trafficking in heroin/morphine/opium, and selling or possessing an electric stun gun.

4:18 p.m. - Caller reported a stove fire on Howard St. Norwood Fire responded and handled the call.

5:05 p.m. - Caller at SYMS on Boston-Providence Highway reported a suspicious male in a grey hooded sweatshirt looking into car windows. Responding officers reported the subject gone on arrival.

5:50 p.m. - Caller at the Residence Inn reported someone stole her catalytic converter. Police filed a report.

6:32 p.m. - Police responded to a Fifth St. residence after receiving a domestic disturbance call and arrested Kimberly H. Williams, of Norwood, for assault and battery.

Saturday, Nov. 26

12:52 a.m. - Caller reported a disturbance in the lobby at the Courtyard by Mariott on River Ridge Rd. Responding officers placed one into protective custody.

9:47 a.m. - Caller at Petco on Boston-Providence Highway reported employee bit by a cat. Information forwarded to Norwood and Boston Animal Control, no medical attention needed.

1:43 p.m. - Caller on Whitewood Cir. wanted to speak to an officer about a previous larceny. Police filed a report.

7:11 p.m. - Caller on Deerfield Rd. reported breaking and entering to her home. Responding officers filed a report, no arrests made.

Sunday, Nov. 27

10:59 a.m. - Caller reports an older male sitting up town from the Town Commons Gazebo made inappropriate comments to his granddaughter. Officer reported no crime committed, but will check area for subject.

3:06 p.m. - Caller on Washington St. reported motor vehicle keyed overnight. Police filed a report.

6:08 p.m. - Caller reported kids on the roof of the Rugged Bear Warehouse Store on Lenox St. Police responded, reported kids gone on arrival.
