Governor Patrick Signs Norwood Rink Bill

In the final days of the Massachusetts legislature session, Governor Deval Patrick signed a bill to allow a $5.66 million regional ice rink to be built in Norwood, according to a report in the Boston Globe.

This has been a long process and the next step was to show that a rink will benefit more than just Norwood residents. That's part of the contract that needs to be worked out. The rink is slated to be built behind the Coakley Middle School.
