Massachusetts Supreme Court Asks for Input on Judges

The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court is asking attorneys and court employees in Norfolk Court to evaluate 35 judges as part of an ongoing program to evaluate judicial performance, according to an Associated Press report.

The confidential questionnaires surveys the judges' knowledge of the law, fairness and impartiality, temperament on the bench and treatment of litigants, witnesses, jurors and attorneys. They will be given to the evaluated judge and the chief justice of the courts. Surveys will be accepted through mid-December.
