New Norwood DPW Facility Receives Selectmen's Approval

A Norwood town meeting will be held in late January or early February to review bids for a new department of public works facility, according to a report in the Boston Globe.
Selectmen approved a town meeting request for a new facility by a 4-1, vote Tuesday, Nov. 19.
The project will be funded by a slightly increased water and electric rates and borrowing from the town's stablization fund, according to selectman Allan Howard in the Boston Globe article.
