Norwood Patch Storm Center: Winter Storm Warning Issued for Region Tuesday

The National Weather Service is predicting 6 to 8 inches of snow in the Boston area between Tuesday and Wednesday. A Winter Storm Warning has also been issued for the region through Wednesday afternoon.

The Norwood Fire Department on their Facebook page is reporting that road conditions are poor throughout the area. They are asking people to stay off the roads if possible and if they have to go out, use extreme caution. They also said.

The Norwood DPW reported there was 3.5 inches of snow as of 6:30 p.m. They also reported the Waste Management trucks will begin their routes at 10 a.m. Wednesday and they are asking that people don't leave trash and recycling carts out overnight.

          

Road conditions are poor throughout the area. Please stay off the roads if possible. They have brought extra personnel to handle the high call volume that is expected during the storm.
