Senator Scott Brown Votes This Morning at the Delaney School

Senator Scott Brown stopped by the Delaney School this morning to cast his ballot for the 2012 general election.

Senator Scott Brown kicked off his Election Day early this morning by voting at the Delaney School in Wrentham. Arriving around 7:15 a.m. with his wife Gail Huff and daughter Ariana, the Senator and his family had to wait a little bit as the line to vote did extend out of the Delaney School gym and almost out of the school's entrance.

"I've never seen it this crowded. I've obviously been here almost 25 years and town's done a great job setting everything up being organized but it's been fun and I'm encouraging everyone to get out and vote," Brown said.

As far as turnout, Brown believes that 70-75 percent of the state will turnout to vote today.

After casting his vote, Brown said that he is now looking forward to finding out the results tonight. When asked if he thinks there will be a recount, he replied that he believed that the race would be called around 9:30 p.m. or 10:00 p.m. tonight.

With most of the campaigning over, Brown appeared to be satisfied with his campaign, but also noted that the results will be very close. The Senator's campaign for reelction against Democrat Elizabeth Warren has been too close to call with many of the polls falling within the margin of error.

"It's going to be a close election and I'm looking forward to finding out the result," Brown said. "I've done everything I could. I feel very good about what we did and how we handled it and now we'll see what happens."
