Special Town Meeting Continued to Monday

The Town Meeting members voted on 25 of the warrant articles Thursday night and tabled the final four until Monday night.

The Special Town Meeting that began Thursday night will be continued to Monday after the members completed discussion and voting on 25 out of the 29 warrant articles.

At 10:30 p.m., moderator David Hern noted that the Town Meeting does not do business after that time unless the moderator determines that the remaining business can be completed in a "reasonable extension."

While only four articles remained, article 29 concerns approval and funding for concession stands at the new Norwood High School.

"Am I correct in thinking that may take more than five minutes?" Hern asked the members, who laughed and nodded in agreement.

The meeting was adjourned to Monday at 7:30 p.m.
