Town Meeting Member Vacancies Available

There are available positions in all nine districts for Norwood Town Meeting Member, elections to be held April 2.

The Town Clerk's Office wishes to inform the residents of Norwood there are currently vacancies for the office of Town Meeting Members in all nine Town Meeting Districts.

Because the town’s district boundary lines had to be re-drawn this year to comply with the state-wide redistricting, all Town Meeting Members must now run for re-election at the April 2 town election. 

There are a total of 28 Town Meeting Member positions to be included in the ballot in each nine Town Meeting Districts.

Any current Town Meeting Member who did not file the required "intent to seek re-election form" with the office of the Town Clerk must do so by the legal deadline of Monday, February 13, by 5:00 p.m. Anyone else who is not currently a Town Meeting Member but who is interested in running for the office must file nomination papers signed by at least ten registered voters in their district. Last day for filing these papers with the Board of Registrars is also Monday, February 13.
