What's Up at Norwood Recreation Department?

Here what's going at the Norwood Recreation Department:

WORK IT CHILDREN-(Grades K-2)-Take charge and go with the electron flow. Investigate electricity, current, resistance, energy storage, and conductivity using the super cool snap circuit system. Work on building electronic projects that fly, buzz, light up and interact with the environment. We play with the types of switches and integrated circuits that are commonly found in at-home electronics. Class is six weeks and instructed by our popular, Wicked cool Science staff. NEW! Class will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Only five slots left. Resident: $95 Non Resident: $105 Register by Tuesday, Sept. 24 either online or at the Norwood Recreation Department.

SPIN CLASSES-New! Spin bikes have arrived! Cardio workout on a stationary bike that will have you moving. Call 48 hours or before the class to reserve your bike! Limited to 10 parcipants per class. Class is included in FitPass membership rates. No excuse to not try…. Class is being held at various times throughout the week! Monday 8:15-9:15 a.m., Wednesday, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Thursday (Beginner) 9-10 a.m., Friday 6:15-7 a.m.
Bay State Archery-Ages eight and up. Now enrolling for our next five-week session, starng Thursday, Oct. 17-Nov. 14. Learn the popular Olympic Sport of Archery at a new state of the art facility in Norwood! No prior experience needed and all equipment is provided! Thursday, 4-5 p.m. Resident: $110 Non Resident: $120.
