Hansen Elementary School Students Raise Money for Norwood Hospital Pediatric Patients

More than $500 raised by "Hansen Has a Heart" campaign.

Student Council Members at the Lt. Peter M. Hansen Elementary School in Canton organized the school’s annual community fundraiser “Hansen Has a Heart” for pediatric patients at Norwood Hospital. 

The Student Council sold paper “Hearts”  for $1 each and raised more than $500.  

Sixteen of the school's fourth and fifth grade student council members and Hansen Elementary Principal Peter Boucher came to Norwood Hospital on Friday, February 14 with a donation of more 75 toys, books and games.

Norwood Hospital President Emily Holliman and Chief of Pediatrics, Bruce Weinstock, MD, as well as clinicians from the pediatric units were on hand to receive the donated items.
