Nutrition Director of Norwood Schools Recognized for Enhancing Food Service and Nutrition Programs

The School Nutrition Association (SNA) awarded Norwood resident Jane McLucas, President of SNA of Mass. and the School Nutrition Director of Norwood Schools, the SNA President’s Award of Excellence at the 67th Annual National Conference (ANC), in Kansas City, MO.

"The President’s Award of Excellence recognizes three state presidents each year who demonstrate extraordinary leadership during their year as president and are awarded with a Gold Medallion to wear during ANC,"Susan Sacks, Executive Director of SNA said.

Jane McLucas won for the 501-1000 member division after increasing the number of new members by at least 4 percent, achieving a retention rate of 85 percent or higher.  She also was able to help enhancement the school food service and nutrition programs in Norwood.
