Norwood is absolutely ridiculous! The sidewalks are in no condition for children to be walking in. Its sad that this town cares more about getting the kids to school, rather than their safety.

Agreed. The bus stops are under 10' snow drifts as well.

My town doesn't even clear sidewalks. Quit whining and bring your kids to school. This is why your kids will grow up and feel like they're entitled and everyone owes them. Independence starts at home.

My kids are too little, but if my kids were old enough to go to school and I was concerned about their safety, I would personally drive them to school. I work an hour away and if I had to do so I would either be late or call into work to make sure they would get to school safely.

It would not be such a issue if residents cleared the sidewalks in front of their home. I am curious to what the bylaw is. Also people are driving like lunatics speeding up and down streets beacause of course they have to be the first to get there. Who then takes accountability if someone gets hit by a car?

What does independence have to do with this issue???
